Renée Stravers is an interdisciplinary visual artist based in Amsterdam. She uses photography, video and installations to investigate the nature of perception. By playing with perspective and approaching our surrounding from unusual angles she tries to challenge how we perceive our environment from conceptual structures and what we might experience if we let go of these concepts.
By using our surrounding as an exploration tool, she investigates the role of space in the framed image and the interaction between reality and perception.
